Health, Safety and Welfare Policy Statement


It is the Policy of Stuarts Industrial Flooring Ltd. To provide safe and healthy working conditions for all employees and will take positive action to ensure that other contractors, occupiers of buildings or the public are nor affected by their works. Stuarts Industrial Flooring Ltd intend to meet the requirements of the Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant acts and regulations, especially the management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

The company will co-operate with all those with duties in health and safety, other employees, clients, designers, sub-contractors and enforcing authorities.

We have appointed Nigel Spencer to be the person responsible for the health, safety and welfare matters and we will take positive action to ensure that all employees are consulted in health and safety issues. Our safety services are provided by Explorer Associates Limited.

The company will ensure that all persons are competent to carry out the duties required of them and will provide all information, instructions, supervision and necessary training. To reduce the incidence of accidents and to do everything that it reasonable to ensure that each workplace is made safe.

To achieve this end it must be appreciated that every employee has a legal and moral obligation to comply with the statutory regulations.
